Michael Landon is a Smoke/Flame Artist with over 15 years experience on Autodesk products and over 20 years experience in post production. While employed at Company 3 as a senior level DI editor for such feature films as Prometheus, Super 8, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, and many others, he finished over 10 stereoscopic features over the the course of 3 years.
Michael developed the non-linear finishing workflow and procedures for trailer finishing for Universal Pictures and prior to Joining Universal he was a freelance online editor working at major post production facilities and network promo departments. He is a certified trainer for Autodesk on Smoke/Fire having trained editors from NBC, Fox, Starz/Encore and is also a presenter at NAB for master classes.
