The coolest part about DEMO is you meet companies that started the week before. This one is a perfect example. They presented an idea where a person with visual impairment can get basic help. Things like finding out if the shirt they are about to put on is red or blue. Things like finding out what street they are on.
Kyle knows a little bit about that. He has family that has a visual impairment. He developed this prototype in hopes they can get around without having a full time caretaker.
The wrist belt looks like a steampunk iPhone holder. But it definitely has a good use. The idea is to put sensors in clothes and other areas, so someone can help them via a cell or Wifi connection.
