Path for iPad
For an app that relies on mobile devices, Path finally has come out with Path for iPad. Path is a social network that lets you share books, music, pictures and more from your mobile device.
The app relies on it’s orientation. If you are in portrait mode you can communicate. If you are in landscape mode you get a photo gallery and can’t do much more than watch the pretty pictures. A little frustrating for someone that has iPad in a case and uses landscape mode 85% of the time…Subscribe to iPad365 on iTunes – iPad365 RSS - Twitter: @iPad365 - YouTube iPad365 Playlist
With Path you can add your friends (matching with Facebook and Twitter). Path does have some big limitations, too. For example you don’t have a url linking option. Therefore your pictures might only tell part of a story. Another disappointment is you cannot access on PC; which I have tons of pictures I would like to share. Only way to do it is transfer to mobile and share or do a screenshot.
Still, Path does have a place in social networking. Some like it simply because it doesn’t have the clutter of Facebook and Twitter. You can only have 150 friends on Path so choose wisely…
