This week in the news we discuss all the latest IPO announcements from internet based companies like Zynga and Facebook.  First off Zynga is said to be planning an IPO with a $10 billion valuation.  Zynga is expected to sell 10 percent or fewer of its outstanding shares.  Which are scheduled to be priced on Dec, 15.  Facebook is said to be planning an IPO with a $100 billion valuation and they may file for the IPO before the end of the year.  The offering would raise more money than any other technology IPO.  The Salvation Army is looking to change the way people make donations at Christmas time.  By allowing people to donate with their debit and credit cards.  The new donation system will be using the Square mobile payment system.  CBS turned down an ad based AppleTV deal.  CBS CEO Les Moonves let it slip in a corporate earnings call that CBS had decided against joining an AppleTV service because it was based on an ad split.  If this deal had worked out it would have been a major game changer for IPTV.
