WITH the success of the September Sydney start up camp, the camp has trekked it’s way on down to Melbourne this month to deliver hopefully yet another great bunch of web 2.0 projects.

The idea of the camp was created by Bart Jellema of Tjoos.com who thought it would be an awesome idea to get a group of geeks together to code a project in 48 hours, then present them to a bunch of Venture Capitalists.

The last and first start up camp produced three great web 2.0 applications which grabbed a hold of the needs each of the three groups thought needed to be fulfilled on the online world:

1. Monetising URL’s - Ut.ag

2. Traffic monitoring - TrafficHawk.com.au

3. Representation of current linked sites on the social web - LinkViz.com
